London City Lionesses 1 - 1 Durham; Goodwin header draws hosts level after Blake stunner.
Newcastle draw with Birmingham, meaning London City would've won the Championship with victory.
Birmingham host London City next Sunday; Birmingham win will take them up, draw enough for City to win the title.
16:00 - Thank you for following our live coverage of London City's tense encounter with Durham from Hayes Lane this afternoon! The fight for promotion to the WSL goes on to next weekend, where Birmingham will face London City for a place in the top flight of women's football.
FT: London City Lionesses 1 - 1 Durham. The Lionesses were so close but they will need to go to Birmingham and get something on Sunday if they are to earn their first promotion to the WSL.
90+10' - Megan Campbell is on for Sofia Jakobsson. Not entirely sure why City are taking up more time!
90+9' - It's finished 1 - 1 at Newcastle; a goal for London City wins them the title.
90+8' - Carly Johns loses out to Teyah Goldie on the halfway line but goes down holding her head, so the referee has to stop the play. She hasn't blown for full time though, so the hosts will get a chance to pump the ball into the box!
90+5' - Durham win a free-kick on the halfway line and take plenty of time getting everyone forward. London City deal with it comfortably but time is running out for the hosts to get the job done today.
90+3' - Close again! Ivanovic dances away from three defenders and lashes a fierce strike just over the bar! Before the goal kick, Durham make a change, Eleanor Ryan-Doyle replacing Lily Crosthwaite.
90+2' - HUGE CHANCE! Jakobsson the architect again for City, teeing up Ivanovic from 10 yards out but she scuffs her effort onto the roof of the net. That might have been the chance for the home side.
90+1' - EIGHT minutes of added time at Hayes Lane. Plenty of time for a winner...
89' - Jakobsson has a chance to get a shot off in the box but she's swarmed by Durham defenders. Sarah Wilson got the tackle in but she's hurt herself in the process and is down receiving treatment.
85' - Five minutes plus added time to go and London City are agonisingly close...
83' - Durham striker Carly Johns is clattered into by Saki Kumagai but the free-kick goes to London City, much to the annoyance of the visitors. Meanwhile, Birmingham are piling on the pressure away to Newcastle but, like London City, are being held.
81' - The ball sits up nicely for Boyle-Hlorkah on the edge of the penalty area but she fires a wild effort over the crossbar. On a more positive note for the home side, London City have broken their home attendance record, with a crowd of 2,036 at Hayes Lane this afternoon!
78' - Now a double change for London City sees Kosovare Asllani and Maria Perez coming off to be replaced by Georgia Brougham and Miljana Ivanovic.
76' - Double change for Durham; Carly Johns replaces Aimee Claypole and Dee Bradley replaces Ella Wilson. The visitors need some fresh legs to provide an out ball as they gradually drop deeper, defending this point.
74' - BRILLIANT SAVE! Boyle-Hlorkah rises highest in the box and loops a header towards the corner but Rylee Foster reaches out a strong hand to push it behind for a corner. The roof nearly came off at Hayes Lane for a second!
72' - Imuran tries to thread the ball through to Goodwin but an excellent sliding challenge from Sarah Wilson prevents the London City striker getting through on goal.
66' - London City make their second change of the afternoon, bringing on Charlene Meyong for Julia Roddar.
62' - 1 - 1 AT KINGSTON PARK! If Newcastle hold on, a win here for London City would take win them the league title and promotion to the WSL. Still a long way to go in both games though...
60' - Hannah Blake's afternoon is over; the Durham goalscorer is replaced by Kaila Novak.
56' - GOODWIN EQUALISES!!! Jakobsson gets another brilliant cross into the Durham penalty area and Goodwin flicks a deft header into the far corner. It's a really classy goal to put London City back on top of the Championship!
55' - Close again for City! Asllani is allowed to drift into the penalty area from a short corner and goes for goal from a tight angle but her shot flies just wide.
54' - From the corner, Durham make a mess of clearing their lines and Goodwin goes down just outside the penalty area but the referee isn't interested.
53' - Julia Roddar floats an excellent ball into the Durham box and Lauren Briggs almost scuffs it into her own net, narrowly missing the top corner!
50' - Jakobsson makes another promising run down the right wing but her cross doesn't come to anything. There's much more urgency about the home side now as they chase a vital equaliser.
47' - Mollie Lambert makes another darting run down the right wing and wins a corner early in the second half for the away side, but it's headed clear by Boyle-Hlorkah.
46' - Durham get the second half underway!
15:03 - London City have had a half-time change, bringing Chantelle Boyle-Hlorkah on for Freya Godfrey.
15:01 - The teams are back out just before the second half. Goal difference could matter today as well; if London City score once and Birmingham win by a two goals, even the goal difference would be level!
14:52 - It's half-time at Newcastle now, with Birmingham City leading 1 - 0 through Simone Magill's header.
While that isn't the result London City would want, it's still in their own hands. If they turn this game around, the Lionesses would head to Birmingham with at least a two point lead at the top of the Championship.
14:49 - Defeat for London City would be something of a surprise; they haven't lost a Championship match since September, but as it stands, the Lionesses would drop out of top spot, and their promotion hopes would rest on winning away to Birmingham next weekend.
HT' - London City 0 - 1 Durham.
45+2' - Lambert chases down a loose ball and whips in a dangerous first time ball, forcing Teyah Goldie to put it behind for a Durham corner. These counter attacks have been deadly from the away side.
45+1' - Two added minutes at Hayes Lane; there are five at Kingston Park for Newcastle and Birmingham.
44' - City go straight down the other end and threaten an equaliser, Jakobssen the catalyst again. She beats her full-back on the right and picks out Goodwin but the shot is straight at Rylee Foster in the Durham goal.
43' - Should be 2 - 0! Claypole catches London City on the break and plays a perfect through-ball into Mollie Lambert, who tries to square it with the goal half open! Glorious chance for the away side to snatch another goal at Hayes Lane.
39' - Jakobsson sets off from a central position, beating a couple of players and getting a shot off from the edge of the box. Her effort is clearly deflected wide for a corner but both the referee and linesman signal for a goal kick, adding to the hosts' frustration.
35' - Lily Crosthwaite puts a dangerous ball in for Hannah Blake; the goalscorer gets it under control and lays it off... for no one! Durham caught London City out there, it's a big let off for the home side.
31' - There's a hushed silence around Hayes Lane as news filters through that Birmingham have taken the lead against Newcastle; this is about as badly as it could've gone for London City so far.
29' - Close again for London City! Great defending from Michaela Foster for Durham, she just gets in front of Goodwin at the far post to prevent the number 15 from scoring a tap in.
27' - Birmingham have scored at Kingston Park against Newcastle. As it stands, London City would drop to second heading into their final day showdown with the Blues.
23' - Sofia Jakobsson drives down the right hand sand and nutmegs a Durham defender before winning City a corner. The delivery is fantastic and Isobel Goodwin meets it ten yards out but can't keep her header down.
19' - GOAL FOR DURHAM! That wasn't in the script...
It's a wonderful strike from Hannah Blake, it drops to her 20 yards out in a central position and she whips a vicious strike into the bottom corner. No stopping that!
18' - Big chance! Kosovare Asllani works her magic to beat two opponents on the left wing. She puts a cross in which takes a deflection and falls for Grace Neville but she can't get enough power behind her shot to find the net.
15' - There's a break in play now for Aimee Claypole to receive some treatment; it's a nervous atmosphere in Bromley. Every time London City come forward without reward you can feel the home fans thinking "what if we don't score?" The Lionesses could do with stepping the tempo up a touch to bring the crowd into the game.
9' - Just as I say that, London City get themselves in on goal! Rofiat Imuran makes a fantastic run on the left side and puts a dangerous ball into the six yard box but it just evades Sofia Jakobsson. There were fans behind the goal on their feet expecting a goal there!
8' - London City are just starting to settle into a more comfortable rhythm now, knocking the ball around the edge of the Durham penalty area. They're yet to fashion a decent chance but momentum is building for the Champions elect.
2' - Durham have the first chance of the afternoon; a strong run down the right side from Mollie Lambert gets the away side up the pitch. Her cross is tipped away by Emily Orman and looked as though it might drop for Aimee Claypole but it just evades her. An early warning side for the hosts!
1' - London City get us underway on a huge afternoon at Hayes Lane!
13:55 - Five minutes until kick-off; will London City go up today?
Will London City be promoted today?
Yes, they'll go up
No, it'll go to the final day
13:44 - London City are unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, but their only defeat of 2025 was to Arsenal in the Women's FA Cup. Jocelyn Precheur's side haven't lost a league match since 29th September against Sunderland. Not good news if you're Birmingham City...
13:23 - And the Starting XI hoping to secure promotion for London City 🔵🏆
13:20 - The Durham team for this afternoon ⚪🔴
13:15 - Good afternoon and welcome to Hayes Lane! London City host Durham here in Bromley, knowing that victory will, at the very least, put them within a point of promotion.
But if Birmingham City slip up 300 miles away to the north at Newcastle, the Lionesses' could win the Championship title this afternoon. It's going to be one of those days for checking other scores!
